The Salvaged Lot is my own personal space to discuss some of my favorite films with you all. The majority of these films are either independent, low-budget, or were box office flops, or any combination of these.  Through this blog, I will offer you my take on these films, hopefully giving you reason enough to check them out for yourself. I'd love feedback and for us to create an open discussion about these films I feel have been swept under the rug.

Now as for me.  My name is Taylor and I am currently an English major and teaching minor in my last semester of college. Movies have always been one of my biggest passions. I guess you could call me a film nerd. I love finding and discussing the "deeper meanings" of a film or its elements, but at the same time, I like to just enjoy the experience of watching.
